Gregory La Blanc – About

Evergreen Lectures present the Berkeley program with Gregory La Blanc. Gregory La Blanc is the Chair of the Berkeley-Haas Professional Faculty and a Lecturer at the Haas School, Berkeley Law School, and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Berkeley.

He started the Haas Data Science Initiative and heads up the Berkeley Fintech Institute. He is also the academic director of the AMENA Center for Entrepreneurship and Development and instructor in Berkeley’s VC Deal Camp and Blockchain Bootcamp. Gregory La Blanc received numerous teaching awards, including the Haas Cheit Award and teaches classes in law, innovation, strategy, technology and data. He has consulted in the areas of innovation, decision making, risk management, and strategy around the world. He has advised numerous start-ups, particularly in Fintech, Artificial Intelligence and people operations. 

His research lies at the intersection of law, innovation and the use of data in rapidly changing industries.

The Evergreen Lectures Berkeley Executive Institute Course is targeted for Austrian students, who are motivated to expand their horizon and who are specifically interested in the subject of this Berkeley course, who think outside the box and who challenge their professional environment with the expertise from other fields of research. The course is limited to a maximum of 30 participants. A distinct quantity of places is reserved for students from forestry and wood science.

At successful completion, the course will also be credited as an English-language free subject of 2 ECTS in winter semester 2023/2024 at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
